GTP discontinues highly specialized thermal spray powders.
Global Tungsten & Powders continues to focus on the manufacture of best-in-class tungsten and tungsten carbide powder grades for various industries. Traditionally, GTP also manufactured small volumes of highly specialized thermal spray powders based on tungsten carbide, molybdenum carbide, and chromium carbide. These highly specialized powder grades explicitly developed for thermal spray applications will be discontinued by the end of calendar year 2022.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may create. GTP always was a niche player in this specific application and the thermal spray powder business segment is no longer viable for GTP to continue.
